Alex's primary responsibilities include deal origination, structuring and execution, industry research and portfolio management for the Ironwood equity fund.

Prior to joining Ironwood Capital, Alex was a Vice President of Market Development and Strategic Planning for Carpet One, the nation's largest floor covering retailer.  Alex was also the founding partner of Anything for Home - a database marketing consortium.  Alex started his career with Morgan Stanley & Co. and later joined Advent International, a Boston-based private equity investment firm.

Alex serves as a director on the board for Epoch Homes and as an observer for Buy-Rite Design.

Alex is a graduate of Colby College.
