Ironwood Capital Announces Investment in Capewell Aerial Systems, LLC
AVON, CONNECTICUT, September 20, 2018 – Ironwood Capital is pleased to announce an investment in niche manufacturer Capewell Aerial Systems, LLC (“Capewell”). Headquartered in South Windsor, Connecticut, Capewell designs and manufactures tactical, parachute and aerial delivery products. Founded in 1881, Capewell has been in business for over 130 years.
“Over the past several years, Capewell has increased market share of its primary products and expanded its practice of accretive acquisitions to further diversify its revenue streams, product portfolio, end markets and customer base,” noted Alex Levental, Ironwood Capital managing director. “It has built a very flexible foundation.”
