Paul is responsible for investment opportunity analysis and portfolio company monitoring, including analysis of market and competitive trends, identifying business development and growth strategies, and assessing exit opportunities. He is a board member of The Facilities Group and Cox Transportation.
He joined Ironwood Capital in 2012 from McKinsey & Company, where he consulted primarily on operations and supply chain management. Prior to graduate school, Paul was an engineer at General Motors and is a licensed professional engineer. Earlier in his career, Paul served for six years as a nuclear reactor operator in the U.S. Navy.
Paul grew up in Webster, New York and currently lives in West Hartford with his wife Kelly and their three children. He spends his free time running, building science projects in his basement and trying to keep pace with three young kids.
He graduated with honors from the University of Rochester and holds graduate engineering degrees from the University of Rochester and MIT as well as an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
